Thank you for putting up this lovely piece of art. Whe you said it was a "clash of hearts", you certainly meant it very literally!
I like the concept of living and dead, warm and cold, red and blue... just clashing together. I think there's a certain balance in this picture that makes it symmetrical without being boring. And all of these things make this picture quite wonderful. The souces of light in this picture is quite well done, too, which also adds to the theme.
If there's one thing that I don't quite like about it, it's probably the sparks at the point of impact. I suppose I was expecting something more, something more catastrophic than just a few sparks on the side. It almost made me think that the two hearts simply bounced away from each other instead of crashing into each other. But really... that's just a small point. I don't think it takes away the wonderful parts of this picture at all.
Wow, I regretting not turning on critique for this one - your message is very detailed and constructive. I totally get your point on the middle part... You are probably right. Thank you for your valuable comment and positive words!
Oh, that's perfectly fine, sir. I don't use the critique function very much, really (I consider it restrictive. It limits me to a set number of words.)
When I said that I would come back and comment on your works, I mean it. You are quite a wonderful artist to behold and to be able to offer words that can both encourage you and perhaps help you is my pleasure and my honour.
